Sunday Mornings

For us, Sunday mornings aren’t about “going to church.” It’s a time for us to be the Body by serving one another and our church using our various gifts. Commonly, serving at church is things like running slides during worship, playing on the worship team, or making coffee ahead of time. We believe that serving is also the little things that everyone can do when we’re together.  The Bible teaches in 1 Corinthians 14:26 that when we come together, everyone has something to bring. So when we come together everyone has a hug and a warm smile, a word of encouragement, a prayer, or they sit by a visitor or in some other way build others up. By making this the culture of our services, Sundays are a time to look forward to and prepare ourselves as a way to pour into others.

Service Teams

  • Opportunities for worship leaders, singers, and musicians to serve during Sunday service.

  • Opportunities for computer and sound techs to serve during Sunday service.

  • Opportunities to serve including making coffee, donut shop order pick up before service, and picking up trash after Sunday service.

  • Opportunities to serve welcoming visitors at the Connect Table or as door greeters.

  • Opportunities to serve during Sunday service and Wednesday youth nights.

  • Opportunity to serve in Forerunner Kids during our Sunday service.

  • Opportunity to serve in Forerunner Youth on Wednesday evenings.
